'Classic' – a book which people praise and don’t read. — Mark Twain
Writing about and sharing the world of architecture in this moment is an important activity to understand our milieu. Jason Robbins is the editor and curator of the MB ARCH series of books published by Storefront Manitoba.
The MB ARCH books were first created for the RAIC Festival of Architecture in Winnipeg for 2014. They're a showcase of some of Manitoba's best contemporary architecture and design. All projects were submitted by the design firms. The first edition sold out and reprinted in 2017. There are now 4 volumes.
Storefront Manitoba is dedicated to advancing the awareness and appreciation of architecture, design and the built environment. Storefront promotes critical discussion, exploration and celebration of urbanism and design culture. Visit their website to purchase their publications: https://storefrontmb.ca/mb-arch-vol_04/.
